In the Top Laptop CPU Ranking, the Core i7-10870H is quite higher in the standings, but let’s see if the new hotshot can do some damage and spice up the ranking.

In 3D Rendering, the Core i7-10870H scored 71% higher than the Core i7-1165G7. For the Photoshop benchmark, the i7-10870H was faster again, this time by nearly 0.8 seconds. The higher thread and core count clearly helped the Core i7-10870H take the victory here, with the Cinebench 15 test being a complete massacre.

The Intel Core i7-10870H was the clear winner in this comparison, and that could have been determined just by looking at the spec sheet. Having double the number of cores and threads is just too much for the Core i7-1165G7 to handle. That is why the i7-10870H performed 71% faster in 3D Rendering and was 0.8 seconds faster in Photoshop. While the 3D Rendering scores cannot be overlooked, the Photoshop results are quite close and the i7-1165G7 could be the better option if your work or hobbies include mainly using Adobe Photoshop or other 2D Image editing software.
