CPU benchmarks

Let’s cut right to the chase, starting with the 3D Rendering test with Cinebench 20. The Core i7-11800H showed a 7% increased performance, which is unnatural as Ryzen CPUs have always performed better in 3D Rendering. In our 2D Rendering benchmark with Photoshop, the Intel processor won again, finishing the test half a second faster, with a time of 5.10 seconds.

Results are from the Cinebench R23 CPU test (the higher the score, the better)

Results are from our Photoshop benchmark test (the lower the score, the better)

To conclude, the Intel Core i7-11800H showed better performance in both 3D and 2D Rendering, making it the better option, regardless of what your workload consists of. Lastly, the price is a very important, if not the most important factor here, so if you find a sweet deal for a laptop with any of these processors, you should just go for it, since you’re getting a very capable processor, no matter what you choose.
