CPU benchmarks

The 3D Rendering scores were really close, but the Intel CPU won by 1% over the AMD CPU. In terms of Photoshop scores, here the Core i9-10980HK won again this time with a larger margin of 32% or nearly 2 seconds faster.

Results are from the Cinebench 20 CPU test (the higher the score, the better)

Results are from our Photoshop benchmark test (the lower the score, the better)

Conclusion

This is one of the rare times where we see such close comparisons. Even more than that – an Intel CPU won so that’s even rarer in 2020. While the Core i9-10980HK won by a single percent in the 3D Rendering test, a win is still a win. Where it shined more is in the Photoshop test, where it crushed the competition. However, keep in mind that the Intel processor is far more expensive than its counterpart so that technically puts the two CPUs in a different category.
