[Comparison] NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 (60W) vs RTX 3050 Ti (60W) – The RTX 3050 Ti is a big improvement over the regular RTX 3050
NVIDIA has been at the top of the GPU game for a very long time. There have been some pretty strong attempts in the past from AMD, but as of now, NVIDIA supply most of the laptop GPUs that you find in today’s gaming laptops.
Now, with Intel coming to compete in the space, as well, NVIDIA needs to solidify its position even more now, as the best GPU maker in the world. Today we have their two newest GPUs, which will go head to head. The RTX 3050 is the entry-level RTX Ampere GPU, while its Ti variant gives it a big bump, specs-wise.
Here is our Top Laptop Graphics Ranking, where you can find the best laptop graphics.

Conclusion
All in all, the RTX 3050 Ti is the faster GPU. With that comes a bump in the price of the laptops. Still, it is up to you to decide if the more performance that the Ti model offers is worth the extra money, which for us it is. In the gaming tests, the 3050 Ti showed a lot of improvement, with an FPS percentage increase in the double digits. However, if you don’t plan to game that hard and want to save some cash, the RTX 3050 still offers enough to offer a pleasant gaming experience.
