[FPS Benchmarks] Apex Legends on NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 (130W) and RTX 3060 (75W) – the bigger GPU is simply faster
Apex Legends is one of the most well-known battle royale games. One of the biggest advantages of this title is that you can download it for free via some game clients like Steam or Origin. Battle royale games attract players with their simple but addictive and fun gameplay – a big map and many players on it. The last man standing wins the match.
The game uses Source engine but it’s not as light as some other Source-based titles like CS:GO (and it looks much better by the way). Still, a mid-range GPU should be okay for Max details. That’s why we are about to check the performance of the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 (130W) and RTX 3060 (75W).

Verdict
When it comes to Low settings, both GPUs are close but further down the road, the 130W GPU is undoubtfully faster. We have 23% and 22% more frames per second on Medium and Max settings which is a respectable lead. However, even the 75W GPU is ready for 144 Hz displays because it can show around 151 FPS with maxed-out visuals.
