[FPS Benchmarks] Assassin’s Creed Valhalla on NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 (95W) and RTX 3060 (65W) – the 95W GPU is 11% faster on average
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is the latest installment that belongs to the popular series. The game is one of the biggest hits of 2020 and in terms of graphics the title definitely looks good. Just like its predecessors (Odyssey and Origins), the new game isn’t the lightest out there especially if you want to see it in its full glory.
For 60 FPS on Ultra quality, you’re going to need at least a modern mid-range GPU with decent TGP and if you want to see FPS above 60, it seems that even the GeForce RTX 3080 (130W) can’t go over 83 FPS. For this article, we have prepared two good mid-rangers – the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 (95W) and RTX 3060 (65W).

Verdict
On Ultra quality both GPUs are pretty close – the bigger GPU is just 4% faster. However, if you want to lower the quality a bit to achieve a smoother gameplay experience, the GeForce RTX 3060 (95W) is from 12% to 16% faster compared to its smaller sibling. On the other hand, the GeForce RTX 3060 (65W) looks like a fast GPU no matter its decreased TGP.
