[FPS Benchmarks] Assassin’s Creed Valhalla on NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 (85W) and RTX 3070 (130W) – both are fast but the 130W GPU wins
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is one of the hottest and newest games out there. It offers a long and interesting single-player campaign full of brutal Viking battles alongside a catchy storyline.
Technically, the game looks good despite the fact that it uses the same engine as its predecessors. But this big open world wants every bit of power from your machine. CPU, GPU, RAM – you name it, everything is under stress during gaming on this title.
That’s why for today’s comparison we bring two new and fast GPUs – the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 (85W) and RTX 3070 (130W). Let’s see how powerful are they when it comes to Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.

Verdict
Expectedly, the 130W video card wins by a hefty margin – 20% more FPS on average is a decent lead. No matter the preset, the RTX 3070 (130W) is always faster and we are happy to see that it can even push more than 70 FPS on Ultra details.
Speaking of Ultra, the smaller sibling almost hit the 60 FPS mark which is not bad for a video card with such a lower power limit. Because of its modest TGP, you can pick this one in a thin and light gaming device.
