[FPS Benchmarks] Call of Duty: Modern Warfare on NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 [40W and 50W] – a 20% lead for the bigger video card

    The 2019 version of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is a super successful project. The game features a good campaign (yep, hello Captain Price), well-known multiplayer modes, and of course – the battle royal mode. The latter is super-popular up to date and tons of players are enjoying it.

    Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is the first COD game that switches to e new engine. And it was about time – this was a long-awaited change for many fans. The new engine (IW 8.0) is well-optimized and the visual quality is more than pleasant.

    It’s time to analyze the performance of the GeForce GTX 1650 [40W, 896 CUDA, GDDR6] and the GeForce GTX 1650 [50W, 1024 CUDA, GDDR5] and to see what kind of performance you can expect when you start COD: MW.

    Verdict

    Let’s start like this – just forget about the Ultra quality with GPUs that are equipped with 4 or even 6 GB video memory. The game is crashing very often and it’s not a very good experience. Apart from that, on Low, both contenders can go above 60 FPS, and the 50W rival almost hit 80 FPS.

    Normal is the sweet spot in terms of graphics quality and frames per second. In this situation, the GeForce GTX 1650 [40W] reaches 57 FPS but as always, the 50W video card is faster (21%).
