[FPS Benchmarks] CS:GO on NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 (130W) and RTX 3060 (75W) – expectedly the 130W GPU wins the match

Counter-Strike is one of the most popular gaming franchises ever. Even the first installment – CS 1.6 is still alive and a lot of players are enjoying it. Counter-Strike: Global Offensive is the successor of CS: Source and it uses the same engine as the older game (Source engine).

In terms of system requirements, CS:GO isn’t too demanding but you know the drill – if you play it regularly, tons of FPS and a high refresh rate display are a good combination for smoother gameplay (ergo, more frags and wins). So, without further ado, lets check how many FPS the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 (130W) and RTX 3060 (75W) can show when it comes to CS:GO.

    Verdict

Actually, both GPUs are pretty fast. Sure, the 130W GPU is 14% faster on average, but even the smaller sibling is able to show up to 334 FPS on MAX settings. This is (probably) enough for up to 300 Hz displays and if you have a 360 Hz unit then maybe the bigger GPU will be a better buy.
