[FPS Benchmarks] Death Stranding on NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 (65W) and RTX 3050 (55W) – RTX 3060 is 30% faster

Death Stranding is a Kojima Productions and we saw the PC release of the title in 2020. The protagonist in the game is named Sam Porter Bridges and his job is to travel between different colonies on the Earth – your main goal is to deliver supplies and establish a new communication network.

Death Stranding looks good and it seems like a well-optimized game. A not-so-expensive GPU like the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Ti [Laptop, 95W] is able to deliver almost 100 FPS on Very High quality which is a good example of how good the optimization is. For today’s article, we’ll compare two good NVIDIA Ampere graphics cards – the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 (65W) and RTX 3050 (55W). Let’s see which one is worthier when it comes to gaming on Death Stranding.

    Verdict

Expectedly, the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 (65W) is faster compared to the GeForce RTX 3050 (55W). The bigger GPU has a 30% lead over the smaller one and that is a big performance gap. Still, the cheaper GeForce RTX 3050 (55W) isn’t a slouch at all, it can deliver around 74 FPS on Very High details which is probably enough for most people.
