[FPS Benchmarks] Doom Eternal on NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Ti (75W) and RTX 3050 (55W) – the 75W GPU is 26% faster on average

Doom Eternal is still a very popular shooter that offers a single-player campaign full of action-packed scenes and there is a multiplayer mode as well so you can frag your buddies as long as you want. Just like the previous game (Doom 2016), the soundtrack fits perfectly the atmosphere of the game and it’s really aggressive so it’s poking you to kill your enemies even faster.

Visually, the title looks great and in addition, it’s well optimized, and based on our testing, even low-end dGPUs like the NVIDIA GeForce MX450 (GDDR6 / 25W) can achieve around 43 FPS on Low quality. Most of today’s mid-range GPUs can maxed-out the game with at least 60 FPS but if you have a high refresh rate monitor and you need more than 144 FPS or 240 FPS, well, your device should be a powerful machine. For this article, we have picked the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Ti (75W) and RTX 3050 (55W).

Verdict

On average, the 75W GPU is 26% faster compared to the 55W GPU. The GeForce RTX 3050 Ti [75W] is 38% faster on Low and 34% faster on Medium which is a big performance gap when you directly compared it to the GeForce RTX 3050 [55W]. However, the 55W sibling is showing some good results – more than 100 FPS on both Low and Medium presets, and on Ultra NIghtmare quality, the smaller video card is almost as fast as the bigger GPU.
