[FPS Benchmarks] Far Cry New Dawn on NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 (130W) and RTX 3070 (85W) – the bigger video card is 17% faster on average

The Far Cry New Dawn gameplay formula is the same as the previous titles from the series – a big open-world full with a lot of mission and small tasks to pick from and decent graphics (well, Dunia 2 engine isn’t that new anymore). In addition to that, the title offers some interesting achievements, a co-op mode and of course – multiplayer and singleplayer as well.

When it comes to performance, the game isn’t the lightest out there but at the same time, it’s not that heavy like Metro Exodus for example. A mid-range GPU is okay for Ultra details but if you want high FPS at the same time you’re going to need something more powerful.

Speaking of power, the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 (130W) and RTX 3070 (85W) definitely have something up in their sleeve so let’s check their performance with Far Cry New Dawn.

    Verdict

Okay, it’s not a surprise that the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 (130W) won the match but the smaller 85W is a decent performer too – 76 FPS on Ultra is a good result for a GPU with 85W TGP. And while we are still talking about the Ultra preset – the 130W sibling is will give you more FPS and (perhaps) a bit smoother gameplay experience with its 88 FPS.
