Gears 5 is the successor of Gears Of War 4 and it uses the same engine as the previous game. Expectedly, the visual quality of the title is definitely good, the game is well-optimized, and in most cases, a low-end dGPU is enough for Low settings.

For this article, we’ll show you two not-so-powerful video cards – the NVIDIA GeForce MX450 (GDDR6/25W) and MX350 (25W). Both rivals have equal power limits and VRAM capacity so it looks like a fair battle.

    Verdict

Expectedly, the NVIDIA GeForce MX450 (GDDR6/25W) is the winner in this comparison. No matter the visual quality, this GPU is 59% faster compared to the MX350 (25W) and that’s a big performance gap. On the other hand, the MX350 (25W) can show 49 FPS on Low quality which is okay for the single-player campaign. If you don’t mind playing with around 32 FPS, you can even use Medium quality.
