[FPS Benchmarks] Need For Speed Heat on NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 (130W) and RTX 3070 (85W) – a close call

When it comes to racing games the Need For Speed series is one of the most well-liked. Sure, not every NFS game is a great one, there are some good and bad titles but that’s somehow normal. Speaking of good titles, Need For Speed Heat is definitely one of the good games of the series.

The gameplay is fun and action-packed, full of sports cars, tons of upgrades for them, police pursuits, etc. The game is based on the Frostbite engine and the end result is a fine-looking title. It’s not that light, but at least it looks good even on Low preset.

If you want to see more than 60 FPS on Ultra you’ll need a fast machine. So, let’s check the performance of the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 (130W) and RTX 3070 (85W) with the aid of Need For Speed Heat.

    Verdict

At least in this game, the difference between the two video cards is nothing to write home about. We saw a 7% lead on average for the 130W GPU and yes, the GeForce RTX 3070 (130W) is always faster but not by much. This leads us to the point where the game runs just fine no matter the GPU in this article and the GeForce RTX 3070 (85W) performs decently for an 85W graphics card.
