Step 1: Opening the MSI Prestige 13 AI+ Evo A2VM

Power off the laptop and place it on a stable, static-free surface.
Undo the seven Phillips-head screws securing the bottom plate.
Using a lever tool, pop the two areas behind the hinges to create an initial gap.
Pry the top edges and the rear of the bottom panel with a thin plastic tool.
Finish by prying the sides and the front, then carefully lift the bottom plate away from the chassis.

Battery Removal and Replacement

This model uses a 75Wh battery.
To detach it, pop the front of the battery connector and gently push it toward the SSD slot.
Undo the two Phillips-head screws securing the battery, then lift it away from the base.
The battery provides up to approximately 17 hours of video playback on a single charge.

Memory Upgrade

The RAM is soldered to the motherboard, which is typical for thin Copilot+ PCs.
However, you can configure this laptop with up to 32GB of LPDDR5x-8533 MHz memory in dual-channel mode, offering solid multitasking performance for most users.

Storage Upgrade

There is a single M.2 slot compatible with 2280 Gen 4 NVMe SSDs.
