Big discounts on ASUS ZenFone smartphones – ZenFone MAX with 5000 mAh battery, 2GB RAM and 32GB storage for $139

How’s life going, folks? The second month of 2017 is nearly over and you are still without a new smartphone. Yes, we can understand this. It’s difficult to manage with all the expenses one has and still leave some funds for new gadgets.

Well, this is the case with many of us but there are solutions to this issue and, as you may know, we do some research every now and then and find more affordable offers. Design, Camera and Display

Alright, so let us begin by mentioning some facts about this phone’s design. As you may guess, for $139 we cannot expect a premium choice of materials. Nonetheless, this device is by no means ugly, no. It offers one just what can be expected at this price. Starting from the back – it only carries the company’s logo, model, speaker grill, as well as the main 13MP camera accompanied by its dual-tone LED flash. The top holds a 3.5 mm audio jack, while the right profile carries the volume controls and power button. As for the bottom – it is there that you shall find the microUSB port.

Also, the front of ASUS Zenfone MAX boasts a big 5.5-inch IPS display with HD resolution (1280 x 720 p). Below the display there are the three traditional capacitive buttons, whereas above it – the 5MP selfie camera, accompanied by the earpiece and some sensors.

Hardware and Software

Let us now take a trip to the smartphone’s inside and touch upon the most important hardware components. Firstly, there is a quad-core Qualcomm processor – the Snapdragon 410 (1GHz) accompanied by the  Adreno 306 GPU, 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage. This combo is exactly suited for the price range in question. It should be enough for your daily tasks but don’t expect great multitasking capabilities.

There is one quite commendable hardware aspect of the Zenfone MAX, however. It is the battery – the big 5000 mAh battery unit. We are aware that this is a big phablet but considering the lower display resolution and not so powerful SoC, we deem that the above-depicted battery life readings are more than possible. Another great feature is the one that allows you to use your Zenfone MAX as a powerbank for other smartphones.

As for the software side of things, you are presented with Android 5.0, which is not the latest and greatest version of the platform but we can have no complaints at this price.
