And so, the GTX 1050 Ti is a tad older than its Max-Q version (2017 vs 2018) but both make use of a 14nm manufacturing process. Other similarities include a power consumption of 75W, memory bus of 192-bit, a memory capacity of 4GB GDDR5 (although the Ti version has a 2GB option), and an identical number of cores. When it comes to their speed, we notice some differences – the former boasts a base/max frequency of 1493 MHz/1620 MHz, whereas the latter offers 1290 MHz/1417 MHz.

Enough with the specs, let us talk about some games. If you want to play something of the sort of GTA V, you can get a good framerate at High settings. On the other hand, a game like ROTR will require you to use Medium settings in order to achieve an enjoyable experience.
