HTC Desire 630 preview – 5″ HD display, 13MP camera and intriguing design

Desire 630 is one of the latest HTC smartphones that can be found on the market. It was officially announced back in February but its release was delayed for some time. Nonetheless, it is now available and this publication will present to you its most important characteristic features.

Attractive design and Snapdragon 400 CPU

One of the features that make Desire 630 stand out is its design. It seems that this style is mostly inherent to young people, and it’s also quite attractive. For now there are two color versions available – white and gray. Additionally, the smartphone is only 8.3 mm thick, and weighs 140 grams.

Desire 630 uses Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 400 mobile CPU. It is definitely not the latest and greatest chip, but it has proved more than once that it’s capable of providing reasonable performance without affecting exterior temperatures. Also available are four Cortex-A7 cores, ticking at 1.6 GHz, 2 GB of RAM and the Adreno 305 GPU. As far as internal storage is concerned, you get 16 GB, which are expandable via the microSD card slot (it supports up to 256 GB).

5-inch Super LCD display and Android 6.0 Marshmallow

Desire 630 features a 5-inch Super LCD display whose combination with the thin profile provides comfortable grip and manipulation of the phone with a single hand. The screen resolution is HD (1280 x 720 p) which translates into 294 ppi pixel density or, in other words, reasonably detailed image quality for a mid-range model. In addition, sound quality is ensured by Dolby, so you can expect loud and decent sound.

The battery capacity of this smartphone is 2200 mAh. It may not sound like a lot but the hardware isn’t that demanding either. Apart from this, there is the optimized Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Of course, the OS is complemented by the feature-rich HTC UI.

13MP camera and two SIM cards

Desire 630 boasts a 13MP camera with a BSI sensor, autofocus, LED flash and f/2.4 aperture value. Additionally, you get Full HD recording and menu with some extra options such as Photo Editor, which offers different effects for your photos. There is also a front-facing 5MP camera that provides some features such as self-timer and voice control.

Last but not least, we must note the dual SIM capabilities of this smartphone. It allows you to use two mobile numbers in a single phone, which is great if you travel around a lot.
