HTC Desire 825 is yet another new smartphone that was recently released and this is why we want to share with you this short preview of its features. If you are interested in this mobile device, you can check its price and availability here: http://amzn.to/28SfsMC
5.5-inch HD display and Snapdragon 400
Desire 825 features a big 5.5-inch Super LCD display with HD resolution (1280 x 720p), which translates into 267 ppi pixel density – quite reasonable for this class. Additionally, the screen uses Gorilla Glass protection that should shield it from scratches and light bumps.
A Snapdragon 400 mobile CPU ensures the performance of this phone and while it may not be the latest and greatest Qualcomm chip, it is reliable enough. It offers four Cortex-A7 cores, ticking at 1.6 GHz. Also available are 2 GB of RAM, as well as Adreno 305 GPU. Additionally, the internal storage is 16 GB, which is expandable via the microSD slot that supports up to 256 GB, so that you may have enough space for photos, music, etc.
13MP camera and Android 6.0 Marshmallow
The main camera is 13MP and has autofocus, an LED flash and an aperture value of f/2.2. In addition, its menu offers additional options and modes such as HDR, Panorama and others. The camera is capable of Full HD video recording. You are also provided with a 5MP front-facing selife camera that has an aperture value of f/2.8 and Full HD video recording.
Straight out of the box Desire 825 runs on the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow. On top of it you get HTC UI that contributes to the peculiar design and additional features. Also, the smartphone offers several useful pre-installed apps.
2700mAh battery and thin profile
HTC Desire 825 comes with a 2700mAh battery, which is normal, but we don’t have any official information as to how durable it is. In this respect we may say that Snapdragon 400 doesn’t consume a lot of energy, and that the screen is not the most demanding – it has HD, not Full HD resolution, which should also contribute to lower energy consumption.
Desire 825 boasts intriguing design – it is mostly black with a few red elements such as the Power button or the earpiece. We are also fascinated by the small profile thickness of 7.4 mm, while the weight is 155 grams – relatively low for a 5.5-inch smartphone.
