1. Remove the bottom plate

So, this device has only 6 Phillips-head screws holding its bottom panel into place. But even though you’ve undone them, you are not quite ready to pry the panel off. Instead, you would want to unplug the SIM card tray. After that, carefully work your way around the laptop with a plastic tool. Still, on the left side, there is a USB Type-A 3.2 (Gen. 1) port, an HDMI 2.0 connector, an audio jack, and a MicroSD card reader. Then, on the right, you will see an RJ-45 connector, followed by another USB Type-A 3.2 (Gen. 2) port and a Smart card reader. Let’s not forget that there is a SIM card tray on the back of the machine.

2. Battery

Lastly, the battery capacity is 50Wh.

3. Memory and storage

How about memory? Well, it has 8 or 16GB of memory soldered to the motherboard, and there is a single SODIMM slot for memory expansion up to 32GB in total. Its frequency is 3200MHz. In terms of storage, there is one M.2 PCIe x4 drive slot.

4. Cooling system

Inside, we see a cooling solution that comprises two heat pipes and a medium-sized fan.

Hi. I am wondering where the soldered RAM memory is. Is it visible on some of these pictures?

I think it’s on the other side of the motherboard.
