Motorola Moto G5S preview – 5.2-inch display, 3GB RAM and 3000 mAh battery

5.2-inch display and Android 7.1 (Nougat) OS

Moto G5S comes with a bigger display compared to the previous models of the series. Here you are presented with a 5.2-inch screen with an IPS panel and 1920 x 1080 resolution providing image detail of 424 ppi. In addition, Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protects it from scratches.

As for the battery, it has a capacity of 3000 mAh, which should provide you with a relatively long battery life between charges. Additionally, the operating system is Android 7.1 (Nougat) but an upgrade to Android 8.0 (Oreo) is planned.

3 GB RAM and 16 MP main camera

The hardware of Motorola Moto G5S is based on the mobile processor Snapdragon 430 MSM8937 developed by Qualcomm. It has eight Cortex-A53 cores running at clock speeds of up to 1.40GHz. In addition, the Adreno 505 GPU takes care of the graphics performance. What’s more, you get 3GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage but if needed, you can use the present microSD slot with support of up to 256GB.

As for the camera features, the main sensor is 16MP featuring f/2.0 aperture, autofocus and LED flash. You can record Full HD (1080p) video at 30fps. The main camera is 5MP and it also features f/2.0 aperture and LED flash.
