Quick look at Jumper Ezbook 2 Ultrabook – incredibly cheap Macbook Air look-alike with Windows 10
The present article is the beginning of a new LaptopMedia & GearBest project in which we’ll try to shed some light on the not so popular but very intriguing devices that can be found on the market at great prices. The folks at GearBest gave us the chance to choose from a catalogue of 5000 devices so we’ve picked some very interesting machines that surprised us with their awesome price / specs ratio.
Perhaps the name Jumper Ezbook 2 does not ring any bells for most of you and this is why we decided to present this quick look post to you. Another reason that motivated us to write about this ultrabook is the current promotional offer which is more than appealing.

Design
The first thing you will notice about this laptop is its aluminum back with the nice Jumper logo placed in its middle. If you turn the laptop upside down, you will notice that the base is made of silverish plastic. There are several rubber feet for added stability, and two grills for the speakers. Opening the device is relatively easy thanks to the wide hinge.
In the interior you will find the same design language. It’s all silverish, but this time it’s plastic made to resemble aluminum. The touchpad and keyboard are reasonably sized which means that you can expect comfortable typing – the keys have 20mm diagonal and 3.3 mm pitch.
Just like the ultra popular MacBook Air, Ezbook 2 has two USB ports, but instead of Thunderbolt and SDXC slot, the ultra budget device has mini-HDMI and miniSD card slot.
When you open the laptop you will be surprised by the 14-inch Full HD (1920×1080) matte display. Indeed, one would never expect a $179.99 laptop (right now, at Flash Sale) to feature such a screen. Moreover, Jumper Ezbook 2 comes with two loudspeakers for good multimedia experience.
Taking a look at the sides, one can’t help but notice the extremely thin profile of 1.76 cm. The compactness of this device is not the only reason why it’s a good mobile solution – the device weighs only 1.180 kg.
Hardware
The computing performance of Ezbook is ensured by the processor Intel Cherry Trail X5-Z8300 (4-core, 1.34GHz, 2 MB cache). Yes this isn’t the latest and greatest CPU out there, but gets the job done if you are mainly using this device for everyday tasks. As far as graphics performance is concerned, you are provided with an integrated GPU Intel HD Graphics.
Additionally, the RAM on this device is 4 GB DDR3L and the disk space is 64 GB eMMC. You also have the most basic connectivity options – 1 x USB 3.0 and 1 x USB2.0, microSD card slot, miniHDMI slot, and a 3.5 mm audio jack.
We can’t pass without mentioning the battery whose capacity is 10 000 mAh. This is more than enough, given the energy-efficient CPU and GPU. According to the manufacturer, Ezbook 2’s battery life can provide up to 6 hours of video playback.
