5.5-inch Super AMOLED display and stylish design
Galaxy J7 (2016) features a 5.5″ HD display (1280 х 720 pixels). This translates into pixel density of 267 ppi. What is more, the Super AMOLED panel alows you to enjoy bright and contrasty colors, and wide viewing angles.
Apart from the most powerful hardware amongst the Galaxy J models, the J7 also boasts stylish design which offers metal frame and slim body only 7.8 mm thick. This will contribute to better grip, despite the fact that it is a 5.5-inch smartphone.
8-core Exynos CPU and 3300mAh battery
Furthermore, the mobile CPU is Exynos 7 Octa 7580 with eight Cortex-A53 cores, ticking at 1.6 GHz, and it comes in a combination with a Mali-T720MP2 GPU and 2 GB of RAM. Undoubtedly, this will ensure snappy operation with the device. The internal storage is 16 GB, but you can expand this via the microSD card slot which supports up to 128 GB.
Additionally, the battery capacity is 3300 mAh which sounds alright, at least in theory. It can be easily accessed and removed if need be. You also get the Samsung Ultra power saving mode that can sacrifice some of the functions for the sake of longer battery life.
13MP camera and Android 5.1 Lollipop
The smartphone offers a 13MP camera with an LED flash, autofocus and an aperture value of f/1.9, allowing for decent photos even in low light. It is also capable of Full HD video recording. On the other side you will find a 5MP camera that can take 120 degrees shots. Additionally, you are provided with a front-facing LED flash, Beauty mode and the ability to trigger the camera via gestures.
Galaxy J7 (2016) comes with Android 5.1 Lollipop accompanied by TouchWiz (Samsung’s UI). The latter brings design changes in the menus and some additional functions, and useful pre-installed apps.
