Design

Since the laptop targets the educational system and market, it’s got a reinforced design in order to survive in the classroom. This includes a rubber bumper for drop protection, and a splash-resistant keyboard, with up to 400 ml of water. On the bottom, there’s also a rubber strip, for grip when you hold it, or to just sit securely on a table. The keycaps are further secured to the base, so a child can’t use their tiny fingers to yank them out and try to eat them or swallow them, which can be incredibly dangerous. The entire base is covered in an antimicrobial coating, making it safe and killing all microorganisms.

The design itself features speckles on the lid and bottom panel. ASUS has tested the laptop, putting it through the MIL-STD-810H tests, which feature drop test, shock, and vibration tests, as well as extreme hot and cold. For an 11.6-inch device, it’s got heft to it, with a weight of 1.47 kg and a profile of 21.1 mm.

Display

The laptop uses an 11.6-inch IPS panel with a resolution of 1366 x 768p. It has a peak brightness of 250 nits and comes with Stylus support. With around 60% sRGB coverage, there are sufficient colors so videos and movies should look good.

Specifications and features

The laptop uses the Intel N200 processor with four cores and four threads, along with a boost speed of 3.70 GHz. This means that performance should be alright. It comes with the Intel UHD Graphics Xe 750 with 32 Execution Units, which are enough for daily use and streaming movies and shows.
