Lenovo ThinkBook 15p Gen 2: Full Specs

Design

In terms of design, you get a fully aluminum build with an anodized finish. The classic ThinkBook horizontal divide on the lid is here as well, with the lower side featuring a darker shade of grey, as well as the ThinkBook logo. The Lenovo wordmark is found in the upper left corner. In terms of weight and height, the device measures 1.90 kg and 19.9 mm, respectively.

Display

Moving to the display, the laptop comes with two options, both with 15.6-inch diagonal and IPS panels. The first panel has Full HD resolution, 300 nits of brightness, a 1200:1 contrast ratio, and 100% sRGB coverage. The other panel improves on every single metric, increasing the resolution to 4K, brightness to 600 nits, the contrast ratio to 1500:1, and covers 100% of the AdobeRGB color gamut. It also has HDR400 support and comes with X-Rite Pantone factory calibration.

Specifications and features

The laptop offers the Core i5-11400H and the Core i7-11800H for processors, while the graphics are taken care of by either the GTX 1650, RTX 3050, and RTX 3050 Ti, all with a 50W TDP.

In terms of features, you get a lot for your money, including Thunderbolt 4, Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth 5.2 support, a Dual-Array microphone with AI Noise Cancellation, and Stereo speakers by Harman, which bring Dolby Audio support. A fingerprint reader is present to increase security, along with a backlit keyboard for those long working nights. The keyboard also has spill-resistance and features a NumPad, which is becoming less and less available.
