Design

The laptop does feature a more radical design. The whole laptop is made from metal and is as angular as ever. Somehow, HP uses chamfered corners, where some of the I/O is located. The Navy blue color is fantastic and keeps the device sleek and incognito. There is a glossy HP logo on the lid. In terms of weight and height, the device is pretty portable, weighing 2.01 kg and having a profile of 19.9 mm. There is also a 360-degree hinge.


Display

The base configuration comes with a 3K (3072x1920p) display with an IPS panel. The unit covers 100% of the sRGB color gamut and has a peak brightness of 400 nits. There is also a 4K UHD+ display with an OELD panel.


Specifications and features

In terms of hardware, the laptop comes with the Core i7-11390H, which has 4 cores, 8 threads, and a boost clock speed of 5.00GHz. In terms of graphics, you can use the integrated Iris Xe Graphics G7, which is already a good iGPU for productivity. In case you need more power, there is the RTX 3050, which should do the trick in increasing the performance in gaming and in rendering.

Features-wise, the laptop has a single UBS Type-A 3.2 (Gen. 2) port, two Thunderbolt 4 ports, which also support USB 4.0 speeds, an HDMI 2.0b port, a MicroSD card reader, and a 3.5 mm audio jack.

There is also a quad-stereo speaker setup from Bang & Olufsen, with two units on the base, and two on the bottom.
