The new ASUS VivoBook S14 S430 compact and stylish series – prices, specs, features and configurations

Today we shall quickly discuss a new mobile assistant that is a pretty compelling choice for students – the ASUS VivoBook S14 S430 series. This device is quite similar to the ASUS VivoBook S15 S530 that we talked about a while ago. Additionally, today’s choice comes as a kind of a successor to the ASUS VivoBook S14 (S410) series.

Going through the most important specs, we notice three processor options – an Intel Core i7-8550UIntel Core i5-8250U, and Intel Core i3-8130U. The first two options are better if you will need higher computing power. Moving on to the GPU department, you can only go for the NVIDIA GeForce MX130 (2GB GDDR5) which should be enough for undemanding use. Memory-wise, we are presented with up to 16GB of RAM which is more than sufficient for the purposes in question.

When it comes to storage devices, we are looking at a commendable combo of up to 512GB SSD + up to 1000GB HDD. As for the screen, there is only one option – a 14.0”, Full HD (1920 x 1080), IPS panel.
