The new MSI WT75 mobile workstation series – prices, specs, features and configurations

And so, we are back again with another interesting MSI series which serves as a desktop replacement with all its power – the MSI WT75. It is a successor to the MSI WT73VR series. Today’s 17-incher is suitable for users who definitely need high performance and more working space than what a regular 15-incher could offer.

You can check its in-depth specs and more information here: https://laptopmedia.com/series/msi-wt75/

Let us quickly go through the most notable specs – the CPU choice is limited to two options – the Intel Xeon E3-1505M v6 and Intel Core i7-7820HK which are bound to deliver the required performance as they sit on the 13th and 11th position in our Top Laptop CPU ranking. When it comes to the GPU, we are looking at the NVIDIA Quadro P5000 (16GB GDDR5) which is a great choice for professionals working with CAD and other such demanding applications. Storage-wise, you can get up to 512GB SSD + up to 1000GB HDD. As it is expected from a mobile workstation, you can get up to 64GB of RAM.

Another important feature for a mobile workstation is as regards its screen – it’s always good to have more working space. This is exactly the case with the MSI WT75 as it offers two display options – a 17.3”, 4K UHD (3840 x 2160), IPS panel or a 17.3”, Full HD (1920 x 1080), IPS one. The starting price of the notebook is $2899.

When it comes to the competition, we are looking at the ASUS ROG GL702ZC, MSI GT75 Titan 8RX, Acer Predator Helios 500 (17″), Acer Predator Helios 500 (17″), and Lenovo ThinkPad P72.
