4 reasons to BUY the HP Pavilion Gaming 15 2019

1. Good keyboard

The keyboard is definitely a good one. It has a backlight, the keycaps are large, with long travel and clicky feedback. There is a NumberPad section too.

2. Capable cooling solution

The cooling solution does a good job. During gaming, the notebook is cool and quiet, the internals have acceptable temperatures, and the shell remains cool too.

3. Great display

The display (LGD05FE) is PWM-free, it has a 144Hz refresh rate, and it covers 91% of sRGB color gamut. Thanks to our Gaming and Web design profile, the average dE reaches 1.2 which is a superb result.

4. The I/O

This laptop has a decent amount of ports. Let’s see what it has to offer. On the left – an HDMI 2.1 connector, a USB Type-C 3.1 (Gen. 2) port, a USB Type-A 3.1 (Gen. 1) port, a Gigabit Ethernet port, and an SD card reader. On the right – two USB Type-A 3.1 (Gen. 1) ports and an audio combo jack.

1 reason not to BUY the HP Pavilion Gaming 15 2019

1. Mediocre build quality

As we already informed you, the new one has a better build quality than its predecessor. Nevertheless, we are not very pleased with what we saw – the base and the lid are made of plastic. Speaking of the lid, you can’t open it with a single hand and it’s a bit bendable even if you push it gently.
