4 reasons to BUY the HP ProBook 450 G6

1. Great price

Currently, HP ProBook 450 G6 is the cheapest laptop with Core i7-8565U (check out all of them sorted by price HERE). At the time of writing a configuration with i7-8565U, 8GB RAM and 1TB HDD costs $699. Here are the cheapest i7-8565U right now:

2. The screen isn’t harmful to your eyes

HP ProBook 450 G6’s display panel (AUO AUO23ED) lacks harmful PWM and has a good contrast ratio which means that it won’t hurt your eyes even after continuous use (if you work in the evenings, consider buying our Health-Guard profile). It’s far from the best in terms of sRGB coverage or color accuracy but if you’re not a graphics designer you shouldn’t worry about that.

3. A good and quiet cooling system

ProBook 450 G6 has a cooling system of one fan and two heat pipes. The notebook keeps both the internal and external temperature very low while being pretty quiet as well.

4. Easy upgradable

You can easily get access to the internals of the laptop by unscrewing 7 Phillips screws. ProBook 450 G6 has two RAM slots and a 2280 M.2 SSD slot with NVMe support.

1 reason NOT to buy the HP ProBook 450 G6

1. Shallow keyboard; lacks a backlight

The keyboard has somehow short travel and you have to get used to that. However it “clicks” comfortably when the key is pressed so it’s not that bad. Also, if you like to work in the evenings, have in mind most of the configurations lack keyboard backlight.
