4 reasons to BUY the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6

1. The Build quality

To start on the outside of the device, it has a sturdy metal unibody design, with Gorilla Glass covering the screen. The metal body is cool to the touch and just feels amazing to handle. It also does a great job at dissipating the minimal heat that the device generates. The bezels are on the thicker side, but for us, this actually improves the stability by eliminating the risk of accidental touches on the screen.

2. The Display

Moving onto one great characteristic about the tablet, it is the display, which is a 10.5-inch touchscreen Super AMOLED panel with a resolution of 2560×1600 pixels. It has an aspect ratio of 16:10, meaning that it has more space on the vertical axis. Additionally, the screen has comfortable viewing angles and an excellent contrast ratio (with true blacks thanks to the Super AMOLED panel). The panel has two modes: “Normal” and “Vivid”.

The color coverage is great with both modes with the “Normal” mode covering 97% of the sRGB color gamut. As for the “Vivid” mode, it exceeds the sRGB color Gamut and covers 97% of the DCI-P3 color gamut, ensuring punchy and vibrant colors.

The color accuracy isn’t as great as both in Normal and Vivid mode the average dE value is out of the standard with the Normal mode having a value of 2.1 and the Vivid mode having a value of 4.2.

3. The Speakers

The quad-speaker setup on the Tab S6 produces very loud, deep, and dynamic audio, something unusual about a mobile device. What is more, is that the entire frequency range is clear of deviations.

4. The Features

The S-pen has been a staple in Samsung’s Tablets and it provides a great opportunity for people who want to dabble in design and creative work, without buying a new device altogether. Moreover, the machine has a MicroSD card slot for expandable storage, provides LTE and DeX support.

1 reason NOT to buy the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6

1. The Battery Life

The way that we tested the battery life of the Tab S6 was with GFXBench’s battery lifetime test, with the screen brightness set to 120 nits. The tablet managed to endure through 294 minutes, or four hours and 54 minutes of testing, which means that while it should last you a full day if you play a lot of games, you should definitely bring a charger with you just in case.
