    Acer Nitro V 16 in-depth review

Acer is trying to conquer the mobile budget gaming segment with its Nitro V series of devices. The ANV16-71 model is positioned higher in the Nitro ranks. It's powered by Intel Raptor Lake-HX Refresh CPUs with a hefty 55W base power limit. Regarding graphics, you can choose from an RTX 3050 with 6GB VRAM or two RTX 4000 GPUs. Disassembly, maintenance and upgrade options

Opening the Acer Nitro V 16 Hint: Ensure the laptop is powered off and unplugged before starting.Undo the 11 Phillips-head screws securing the bottom panel of the laptop. Hold the two plastic vents on the rear and pop the back of the panel. For a safer approach, use both hands to pop the exhausts one by one. If this method doesn’t release the internal clips, pry the sides and the front with a thin plastic tool to fully detach the bottom panel. Carefully remove the panel to access the internals.More info: The inside of the bottom plate houses metal plates with ther[...]

    Office Work

Office Work should be used mostly by users who spend most of the time looking at pieces of text, tables or just surfing. This profile aims to deliver better distinctness and clarity by keeping a flat gamma curve (2.20), native color temperature and perceptually accurate colors.

    Design and Gaming

This profile is aimed at designers who work with colors professionally, and for games and movies as well. Design and Gaming takes display panels to their limits, making them as accurate as possible in the sRGB IEC61966-2-1 standard for Web and HDTV, at white point D65.

    Health-Guard

Health-Guard eliminates the harmful Pulse-Width Modulation (PWM) and reduces the negative Blue Light which affects our eyes and body. Since it’s custom tailored for every panel, it manages to keep the colors perceptually accurate. Health-Guard simulates paper so the pressure on the eyes is greatly reduced.
