Acer Aspire F 15 (F5-572G) has mostly flicker-free display (PWM report)
Lately, we are introduced to low to mid-range notebooks which almost all of them have panels that use PWM across all brightness levels. Well, today is a good day because results from our lab just came in pointing out that the Acer Aspire F 15 (F5-572G) is one of the few notebooks that have virtually user-friendly display suitable for long hours of work.

Our oscilloscope recorded PWM (screen flickering) only at 55 cd/m2 and below, which is quite frankly, unusable brightness level unless you are in a pitch black room or environment. Even then, the frequency of the emitted light is pretty high (27 kHz) and thus reducing the negative effect on one’s eyesight.
Stay tuned for the full review in the next few hours because this is a great value notebook and for really good reason.
