日本ADATA reveals HD680 and HV320 – external HDDs with high durability and large capacities

ADATA HD680 boasts the military standard MIL-STD-810G 516.6, which is thanks to its three-layer construction. The external silicon cover is the first layer of protection against shocks, while the middle part serves as a buffer that protects the internal soft cover in which the HDD itself is positioned.
The manufacturer claims that the device can withstand a drop from nearly 1.20m. Additionally, you get anti-shock sensors with LED indication. Your data safety is ensured by 256-bit AES encryption. Also, the model has a capacity of 2TB and is offered in yellow, blue, and black color versions.
ADATA HV320, on the other hand, can be found in more storage configs – 1TB, 2TB, 4TB, and 5TB. It stands out with its incredibly thin profile of 10.7 mm. Its design is also elegant and there are three color options. Last but not least, HV320 protects your sensitive data by means of 256-bit AES encryption.
