Well, the reason is not only one. First of all, the Spectrix D80 features a hybrid liquid-air cooling. The product has a liquid heatsink on its top which contains a non-conductive liquid substance that facilitates the cooling of the device. Of course, there is a conventional for the series aluminum heatsink which also contributes to keeping temperatures low while being a pleasure for the eye.

Secondly, the Spectrix D80 features a customizable RGB lighting. Yes, it is meant for those geeks who want to have everything glowing inside their PC case. You can control the patterns via a motherboard software application or ADATA’s RGB Sync app.

Thirdly, a mention must be made of the noteworthy specifications. Since it’s meant for gamers and DIY enthusiasts, it’s good that the module can operate at up to 5000 MHz. Additionally, it uses a 10-layer PCB which is one of the prerequisites for high performance. Also, the device supports the Intel X299 2666MHz and AMD AM4/Ryzen platforms and comes with a pre-configured Intel XMP 2.0 profile for fast overclocking without the need to do BIOS adjustments.
