AMD Radeon R9 M280X is now in our GPU ranking table – it managed to secure a spot in the „Top 20“

amdWe recently updated our GPU ranking table and added AMD’s Radeon R9 M280X. We tested the 2GB version of the GPU and its scores were high enough to kick NVIDIA’s GeForce GTX 850M (4GB DDR3) out of our top 20 list, as AMD’s offering now placed on the 20th spot.

Other GPUs are now “inferior” to the Radeon R9 M280X and the GeForce GTX 950M (2/4GB DDR3) as well as the SLI configuration with GT 650 since the R9 M280X scored well in the following benchmark tests – 22542 in 3DM Cloud Gate, 3557 in Firestrike and 1134 in Unigine Heaven 3.0. AMD’s R9 M280X scores are close to those of the GTX 770M (3GB GDDR5).
