[Updated] AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 Surpassed Apple M3 Pro But Didn’t Reach M3 Max-Level Performance in Cinebench R23
We’re just 10 days away from the official launch of the Strix Point lineup, but leaked benchmarks of the leading Ryzen AI 300 series processor, the Ryzen AI 9 HX 370, have already surfaced.
The great news is that according to a screenshot from HXL on X, the AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 trades blows with the mighty Apple M3 Max in the multi-threaded Cinebench R23 test, scoring 23,302 points. This compares to approximately 22,000 points for the 14-core M3 Max variant and about 24,000 for the 16-core M3 Max.
In the single-core test, the AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 manages to score 2,010 points, which gives it about a 10% advantage over the Core Ultra 9 185H, which scores around 1,800 points.
UPDATE:
We now have the first laptop based on the AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 – ASUS Zenbook S16, which scored approximately 17,500 points in Cinebench R23. While this result is quite impressive, it doesn’t reach the M3 Max level but does surpass the M3 Pro. Here’s the review:
