We don’t usually post that much about a notebook, especially if the full review is being prepared, but the ASUS ROG GL552 sure leaves us something to talk about. This might be the most controversial notebook design from the ROG series so far and here’s why.
If you looked closely at the article about the GL552’s upgrade options and internal photos, you’d probably think that the cooling system is not worthy for the ROG legacy. On the contrary, we were pleasantly surprised to see that the notebook handles high temperatures with ease. We ran our usual CPU and GPU stress tests and the nor the CPU or GPU reached dangerous temperatures. Furthermore, the outer chassis didn’t get warm at all so the user experience will not be affected.
