ASUS ROG Swift PG27VQ – 2K gaming monitor with a refresh rate of 165 Hz, Quantum Dot and Aura Sync RGB support

The new gaming monitor ROG Swift PG27VQ was announced at the Outshine the Competition ASUS event in the German capital city – Berlin. Designed to respond to the demand for monitors with a high resolution and a high refresh rate, created by technological advancement in the world of video cards. Additionally, the monitor features a new HDR technology, which is growing more popular on the market.

ROG Swift PG27VQ boasts remarkable specifications. The size of its curved screen is 27 inches and its resolution is 2560 x 1440 (2K). Additionally, the model features the new Quantum Dot technology, which offers more accurate color reproduction and wider color gamut coverage.

Gamers will be able to enjoy a 165 Hz refresh rate which will extract the maximum from the more powerful video cards on the market. NVIDIA’s G-Sync technology will provide you with the sharpest and smoothly flowing picture.

What is more, ROG Swift PG27VQ is the first gaming monitor which is offered with the Aura Sync RGB lighting by ASUS. The light is projected from the rear part of the monitor and it can be synchronized with gaming effects or with other Aura Sync devices.

Besides this model, the company revealed two other 27-inch monitors. One of them is more modest – ROG Strix XG27VQ with a resolution of 1920 x 1080p and Adaptive Sync technology, while the other one is ROG Swift PG27UQ and it has an HDR screen with 4K resolution. It uses Quantum Dot technology as well, but it also supports the cinema color standard – DCI-P3.
