This is the world in recent years – smartphone displays are becoming bigger, while laptop ones are becoming smaller. Now imagine if there was some kind of a crossbreed between a laptop and a smartphone. And we don’t mean something like the Galaxy Fold, which is some sort of a tablet gimmick. We are talking about the full-fledged laptop Windows 10 experience in a pocket-sized device.

In order to make it actually fit in your pocket, the laptop has a 7-inch 1080p IPS display. Moreover, it measures 8mm in its thinnest point and weighs just over 500 grams. Of course, it is running on Windows 10 and in order to do that, you need x64 or x86 processor. This is why GDP went for the Intel Core m3-7y30. It sports two cores and four threads that work on a base frequency of 1.00 GHz and are able to reach up to 2.60 GHz in Turbo. Since there are some obvious thermal limitations on this design, the 4.5W TDP of this CPU makes it perfect for the purpose of the laptop.

One of the main perks of getting this laptop is actually having a keyboard one your disposal. It uses a chiclet mechanism and decently sized keycaps. But wait – there’s more! It has a touch bar-like stripe above the keyboard, which can be used for lowering brightness and volume. On top of that, you can use the display itself as an input device, since it features a touchscreen capability.

As you would like as much of performance from this mobile chip as possible, GDP as equipped the Pocket 2 with active cooling (uses a fan), which can be muted by a single button.
