This year’s Sony flagship – Xperia XZ Premium comes with significant improvements compared to the classic XZ version and we cannot miss to pay special attention to its camera.
Xperia XZ comes with a 19MP main camera which is accompanied by laser autofocus for instant focusing and an RGBC-IR sensor taking care of accurate color reproduction and automatic white balance adjustments. Furthermore, there is an LED flash, f/2.0 aperture, and a 5-axis electronic image stabilization. Sony claims that it is just as good as optical image stabilization. There is also a Predictive Capture feature that “provides” for moving fast moving subjects and thus the frames are not blurred, as well as an Exmor RS sensor for scanning up to five times faster-moving subjects. You have the option to record a Super slow motion video at the incredible 960 fps as well as 4K videos at 30 fps.
The front camera is 13MP with an f/2.0 aperture and 1.12 µm pixels taking decent night selfies and there is also an option for Full HD video recording.
In addition to the manual mode which will appeal to amateur photographers, there are also Panorama, AR effects allowing you to capture photos and videos with virtual scenes and characters, Creative effect for more artistic photos by changing colors and Sound Photo that adds sound to your image.
