日本Intel Core i7-8850H sits right behind the 5th Core i7-8700 in our Top Laptop CPU Ranking
Yesterday we had a quick look at a Coffee Lake chip that occupies the 5th place in our Top Laptop CPU Ranking – the 6-core Intel Core i7-8700. Today we would like to briefly discuss its neighbor that sits one position behind it – the 6th Intel Core i7-8850H. And so, this bad boy is part of the Coffee Lake generation too but it is part of the -H selection of chips which is targeted at mobile workstations, requiring more power. It boasts 6 cores and 12 threads with a base frequency of 2.60 GHz, and a maximum one of 4.30 GHz. We must note that the TDP of this chip is lower than that of its neighbor – 45W vs 65W. As for RAM, we are looking at a DDR4-2666 support for up to 64GB. The processor comes with the integrated Intel UHD Graphics 630 that has a base frequency of 300.00 MHz and a maximum one of 1150 MHz.
