It Keeps Getting Better! Radeon 890M Surpasses RTX 3050?
Chinese enthusiasts don’t sleep, as we keep finding more benchmark results of the Radeon 890M. This time, the 890M has surpassed even the RTX 3050, which is starting to get scary. AMD might have struck gold with these new Strix Point APUs that they’ve got going, as right now with how things are looking, the Radeon 890M scores 2% higher in 3DMark Time Spy.
If these results are confirmed once we get our hands on a Strix Point laptop with a Radeon 890M, we will have some really interesting budget gaming options, both in terms of thin and light laptops that can game thanks to only a CPU, as well as handheld devices that could crush games. On the laptop end, with good cooling and fast RAM, smaller and more affordable devices can play games just as well as budget gaming laptops from a year or two ago.
