日本Lenovo ThinkPad P72 – workstation for workaholics
As the title suggests, today we shall discuss a new series meant for professionals who need high computing and graphics power. We are talking about the Lenovo ThinkPad P72.

This ThinkPad relies on the quite popular and powerful Intel Core i7-8750H processor that occupies the 4th place in our Top Laptop CPU Rankings. As for the graphics part, you have a choice of two professional chips – NVIDIA Quadro P600 (2GB GDDR5) or NVIDIA Quadro P2000 (Laptop, 4GB GDDR5). Additionally, you can store your heavy apps and large files on the available dual-storage options that go up to 512GB SSD + up to 1000GB. Memory-wise, multitasking should be smooth thanks to the up to 16GB of RAM.
When it comes to the display, Lenovo offers two variants – a 17.3”, Full HD (1920 x 1080), IPS panel or a 17.3”, 4K UHD (3840 x 2160), IPS one. The machine is a bit on the heavy side, weighing 3.40 kg but this is a 17-inch mobile workstation that has a 99Wh battery! Another great thing here is the wide number of connectivity options, including two USB-C Thunderbolt 3 ports.
Competition-wise, we are faced with the MSI WE73 and HP ZBook 17 G5.
