August is here and the hype intensifies as NVIDIA will slowly start pushing its mobile graphics ahead of release, which should be in the middle of this month. You probably remember our few leaks about the GTX 1070 revealing some of the specs – 8GB of GDDR5 VRAM, 256-bit bus width, and 85W TPD. Obviously, a high-end graphics card very similar to its desktop counterpart so that’s why we are so excited about it.
We are pretty sure that the refreshed ASUS G752 will be equipped with one of those and will probably be released by the end of this month but we will let you in on a little secret – our pre-production sample isn’t ASUS’ G752. That’s why it makes it even more exciting – various OEMs are gearing up for the next wave of Pascal GPUs and we will probably start seeing tons of new gaming laptops with these powerful chips. But will other OEMs beat ASUS by being the first or ASUS has already stocked high on the new G752? We will know for sure in the following weeks or so stay tuned. Also, we will release more specs accompanied by benchmarks and tests of the mobile GTX 1070 in the following days.
