MSI’s new notebook is the perfect companion for your virtual reality adventure

Earlier today we talked about NVIDIA’s new Quadro M5500 GPU and now we will introduce you one of the first laptops to feature the GPU – MSI WT72. Let’s take a look at what makes this notebook so interesting.

So far we’ve mentioned that the new MSI WT72 is quite large and hefty but we haven’t exactly said why this is the model to adopt the new Quadro M5500. The dimensions of MSI’s new notebook are 428 x 294 x 48 mm so we can conclude that it will most probably be able to cool off the extremely powerful GPU due to its large housing. Aside from the graphics card, the machine will be available in configurations with Intel’s Core i7-6700HQ, i7-6920HQ and Xeon E3-1505M v5 CPUs paired with up to 64GB of DDR4 RAM.

The machine has a 17.3-inch screen with up to 4K resolution (depending on the configuration).It uses an exceptional panel with 100% coverage of the sRGB gamut and Adobe RGB certificate. These qualities combined with the incredibly high performance of the machine will offer you with the ultimate user experience in your virtual reality journey. The asking price for MSI WT72 with NVIDIA’s new Quadro M5500 is expected to be $5500 but depending on the configuration it can go as high as $6899.
