Official: Apple revealed the iPhone 5SE – specs, release date and price

Apple didn’t disappoint yet again ас the California-based manufacturer officially revealed its new iPhone. However, this isn’t a flagship device and we’ll have to wait until fall for their new top-tier model. The new addition to the family is called iPhone SE and has a 4-inch display, just like the iPhone 5 and iPhone 5s. Actually, the phone also has the same design language but features better hardware.

We’re dealing with a dual-core Apple A9 SoC clocked at 1.85 GHz along with a 6-core PowerVR GT7600 GPU. The resolution of the screen is 113 x 640 (326 ppi), but this time around the 3D touch technology, which was introduced in the iPhone 6s, isn’t available. The rear camera, on the other hand, is exactly like the one on Apple’s latest flagship and it is capable of recording 4K videos. The phone also has a 1.2MP front-facing camera.

iPhone 5SE will be available with 16GB or 64GB of internal storage for $399 and $499 respectively. The phone will be up for pre-order starting on 24th of March and will hit the market on the 31st of March. The first countries to receive the new model will be Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, Japan, New Zealand, Puerto Rico, Singapore, Great Britain and the USA, of course.
