Rumour: Samsung’s Upcoming Galaxy Book5 Ultra: 3K 240Hz OLED, Thunderbolt 5, GeForce RTX 5070 GPU?
According to @kro_roe, Samsung is developing a Galaxy Book5 Ultra, one notebook to rule them all kind of deal. This new device is supposed to have a 3K 240Hz OLED panel, which will look spectacular at 16 inches, which is the current form factor of the Galaxy Book4 Ultra.
Currently, a lot of manufacturers are adopting 3K screens. The new ASUS Vivobook S 15 OLED S5507 has a Snapdragon X Elite and a 3K 120Hz OLED panel.
Some more speculated features include Thunderbolt 5 as well as an RTX 5070 GPU. Thunderbolt 5 doubles the bandwidth and goes even further, thanks to its Boost mode, leveling up transfer speeds up to 120 Gbps.

The RTX 50 series are set to launch in 2025 but we don’t have anything more specific at the moment.
In terms of what CPU the Book5 Ultra will have inside of it, as of now it looks like Arrow Lake is the main contender. We’re expecting the Arrow Lake to hit the market as soon as September this year:

Of course, a more powerful CPU and an RTX 50 will require a massive upgrade to the cooling, as this combo of CPU and GPU will generate a fair bit of heat.
