Samsung Galaxy A7 with promising results on our battery life tests

battttWe are still testing the Samsung Galaxy A7 – one of the upper-mid-range models of the South Korean company. After we revealed some of its camera and 8-core processor’s capabilities, it’s now time to take a look at some of the battery tests. Up to this point we’ve tested its durability with 3 of our tests – Wi-Fi surfing, watching HD video and 3D gaming.

The battery of Galaxy A7 has a capacity of 2600 mAh, but it needs to power a 5.5-inch Full HD screen and an 8-core processor, so we’re curious to test its limits. In the Wi-Fi surfing test the smartphone lasted 751 minutes (12 hours and 31 minutes), which is a great result. The result in our HD test turned out to be even better – 804 minutes (13 hours and 24 minutes). Considering these two very good results, the 255 minutes (4 hours and 15minutes) in the 3D gaming test seem surprisingly bad. Still, this is the toughest test we put the devices through. You can expect more information on the subject in our upcoming review.
