Samsung Galaxy J5 (2017) surprises us with long battery life

The Galaxy J lineup of one of the leading smartphone manufacturers, Samsung, is gaining more and more popularity due to the combination of affordable price and satisfactory capabilities. After the Samsung Galaxy J5 (2016) came out last year, it is now time for its successor – Samsung Galaxy J5 (2017).

What stands out in the new flagship’s specs is the long battery life. Although it has a lower capacity than last year’s J5 – 3000 mAh vs 3100 mAh, the present Exynos chip has lower energy consumption so we expected high results again. The smartphone lived up to our expectations – it is ranked 6th in the Top Battery Life Smartphones Ranking page. Moreover, two additional power-saving modes are added to further extend battery life.
